Sato Special Oil Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Company") has instituted the following measures in protecting personal information such as names, addresses, and requested services of its clients.
1. The Company complies with the relevant laws and ordinances concerning the handling of personal information and does its utmost to protect the information entrusted to it by the client.
2. The Company appropriately handles clients' personal information within the extent required to meet the following purposes.
a. to determine the identity of the person(s) submitting an application.
b. to deliver materials that have been requested or to send necessary informational documents and greetings.
c. to provide other Company services
d. to send sales promotions and surveys related to services or to deliver gifts, etc. using various media, such as emails, telephone, or post.
3. In order to handle clients' personal information appropriately, the Company has established an internal management system as well as set up internal regulations and conducts employee education, in addition to executing appropriate measures to prevent against the loss, damage, alteration, leakage and unauthorized access of said personal information. The Company also works to protect this personal information by regularly reviewing and improving these measures.
4. The Company may entrust clients' personal information to business partners or other companies contracted for services in order to fulfill the above purposes of use. In the event of this, the Company will select companies that have taken sufficient measures to protect personal information and will form a contract for the protection of personal information as well as execute other necessary or appropriate measures. The Company may also disclose personal information to courts, police organizations, or other relevant public authorities when request by said authority in accordance with applicable laws and ordinances.
